Roxy's off duty! Rumer Willis takes a break from Chicago performances to enjoy a low-key outing with sister Scout in NYC

Rumer Willis is well into her first stint on Broadway, for which she plays Roxie Hart in Chicago, performing eight shows per week.

So on Wednesdays - when the 27-year-old doesn't have any performances - she likely needs a bit of a break.

And the Dancing with the Stars champion treated herself to just that this week as she was spotted enjoying a low-key afternoon with her younger sister Scout, 24.

Rumer wore a loose-fitting white, short-sleeved T-shirt which she coupled with a pair of fitted black trousers.

She kept comfortable in a pair of slip-on black sandals, which revealed a dark pedicure, and covered her short tresses with a black beanie.

She hid her eyes behind a pair of black sunglasses, and carried a coordinating black leather handbag, in addition to a white tote.

Enjoying her day off: Rumer kept comfortable in a loose-fitting T-shirt, black trousers, and coordinating slip-on sandals as she took in a break with Scout during her day off from Chicago performances

Scout matched her casual style in a loose-fitting white spaghetti strap top, coupled with a pair of light blue trousers with cut-outs at the knees.

She sported multicolored, patterned slip-on shoes with red embellishments on the toe, and wore her long, blonde tresses styled straight.

She accessorized with a few bracelets for the outing, and carried a tan tote bag, while keeping her make-up natural.

That same day their younger sister Tallulah was spotted heading to the gym in West Hollywood, California.

She looked ready for a workout in a loose-fitting grey T-shirt, worn with a pair of black and white Nike athletic shorts.

The 21-year-old coupled those with grey and white polka dot socks and a pair of black and red Nike sneakers.

She hid her eyes behind a pair of stylish black sunglasses, and was seen carrying a white tote bag as she made her way to the gym.

The following day it was back to work for Rumer, who appeared on Good Morning America to promote her Broadway musical role.

She shared a comical video from her dressing room as she prepared for the appearance, in which she could be seen dramatically lip syncing along to Celine Dion's 1996 hit All By Myself.

The performer captioned the funny video: '@michaelscirrotto giving you a glimpse of how I warm up at 5am.'

She later emerged dressed in costume as Roxie, sporting a short, blonde wig pinned back into vintage-style curls.

She also showed off dramatic eye make-up as well as bright red lipstick while donning a plunging, lacy black dress.

Her stunning look was finished with black tights and a pair of coordinating black heels, as the star first sat down with co-host Robin Roberts to chat about the show.

She admitted her time on Dancing with the Stars likely prepared her for her current grueling schedule, filled with eight shows per week.

'The stamina alone, to be able to get through an eight-show week and keep it fresh and fun every day, I don't think I would've been able to do it without having done Dancing with the Stars,' she said.

She was then joined by a group of male dancers from the show as they prepared to perform a number for the GMA audience.

Rumer showed off her moves - and pipes - as the group performed Roxie to promote the musical, in which the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore will appear as Roxie Hart until November 1.
