So it was no wonder Jennifer Garner had to cool off with a tasty beverage on her latest outing.

The 43-year-old actress was spotted with two iced teas in the Brentwood neighbourhood of Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.

Jennifer Garner is the queen of laid back fashion, she went to pick up her daughter in LA sporting her go to casual style.

Jen is a lover of sandals, whether it's her luxe studded Lanvin sandals, her Chanel flats or a pair of double strap sandals.

Jennifer was not alone on the trip as she was joined by eldest daughter Violet after picking her up from school.

No doubt the nine-year-old and eldest of the star's three children with estranged husband Ben Affleck enjoyed the day out with her famous mother as they held hands while walking side-by-side together.

The Alias actress was dressed comfortably for the occasion as she sported a checked button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up over a grey top.

Bonding time: The mother-daughter duo certainly seemed to enjoy spending time together as they walked side-by-side while hand-in-hand

She also wore a pair of ripped skinny jeans and strappy grey leather sandals for the day of mother-daughter bonding.

Her straight brunette tresses were worn down flowing over her shoulder as she sported a pair of large designer shades over her face which had minimal make-up on it.

While Garner was seen solo on Thursday and a prior outing on Tuesday, she and the Batman star were spotted together on Sunday.

They went their separate ways as Ben caught a private flight from the Van Nuys airport.
