Talk about pressure! 380lb My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Thore takes her new boyfriend home to meet her parents on their SECOND date

My Big Fat Fabulous Life's 380lb star Whitney Thore threw caution to the wind and introduced her new boyfriend Lennie to her family and friends on their second date - which happened to be her birthday party.

The 31-year-old from North Carolina, was all smiles when her bearded beau showed up to her Hawaiian-themed party with his friend Charlie wearing a coconut bra and a grass skirt on Wednesday night's episode of her TLC reality show.

'This is a great sign to me that he doesn't take things too seriously,' she told the cameras. I am shocked and I love it.'

'He is so handsome,' she added. 'He looks so good.'

When Lennie went to hug Whitney and wish her a happy birthday in front of her family and friends he showed his good humor by joking: 'Like my coconuts?'

Before taking him over to meet her parents Glenn and Barbara 'Babs' Thore, Whitney offered to help him with his ensemble, explaining: 'I don't want you to meet my dad with your bra untied.'

'By the way, this is Lennie,' she told her party guests. 'Lennie, this is everyone.' 

And when it came time to meet Babs, Lennie had no problem turning on the charm and telling her that she looks 'gorgeous'.

Later Babs' told the cameras she instantly knew the mysterious party guest was Lenny because of his full beard. 

'Whitney is so attracted to beards, and he had on a coconut bra, so I knew by all of that he had a good humor about himself,' she noted. 

Whitney's father also took notice of Lennie's beard, but he wasn't nearly as impressed. 

After Lennie told Glenn that he had put oil in his beard that morning, the curious father asked if he did that so he could see his lip.   

'I'm a little surprised by the facial hair,' he said of his daughter's new boyfriend. 'Not well manicured, so that's a little curious to me.'

And it looks like Whitney and Lennie are still going strong. Last month they were see holding hands in New York while they were in the city promoting the second season of her show.  

'I have found a man and he's wonderful. I can't say enough about him,' she told People, adding: 'He's hot, I'm heavy.'

Whitney and Lennie have been dating since the spring, however, the reality star didn't introduce him to her Instagram page until a little over two months ago.   

'It sounds cliche but people say when you really do find happiness, you’ll attract that person into your life, she told People.

'I’ve been happy for about a year and a half now, so I’ve been like, "I’m ready. I love my body, I’d like to use it!"'

Whitney rose to fame in 2014 when a video of her dancing racked up millions of views on YouTube. For the second season of her show, Whitney continues to battle Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which saw her gain 200 pounds and makes weight loss more difficult, as she is diagnosed with pre-diabetes. 

Earlier this week, Whitney took to Instagram to share a picture of herself with Lennie while wishing him a happy birthday.

'Happy 28th birthday to this dude! #MyBigFatFabLife (This a BTS shot from our painting date last week!),' she wrote.
