And Rihanna showed exactly why as she arrived at the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2016 catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week on Friday. 

The 27-year-old hitmaker looked sensational in an oversized pink coat-dress which she paired with racy PVC boots for the show at the iconic Louvre Palace.

Rihanna's stunning ensemble boasted a large circle hem, which drowned the stunning star's taut shape, and featured one oversized pocket.

One side of the pink coat featured a monochrome, fur bell sleeve while the other half was open - giving a glimpse of her toned limb.

The neckline was made of yet another material - this time a draped, tweed addition in a Bardot style which slipped delicately off one-shoulder.

She's the face of the French fashion house, so it was hardly a surprise to see Rihanna making an appearance at Dior's SS16 presentation in Paris today,

She modeled a coral-colored coat from the Fall 2015 Couture collection as only she could, teaming it with a snakeskin bag and a pair of PVC boots featuring the perspex heel that is a season signature. All Dior, natch!

This piece is classic couture. Between the oversize fit, one fur sleeve and one pocket, there's a whole lot going on and it's designed to inspire. The draped neckline and cape shape are super dramatic, but of course it's the bold hue that really caught our eye. A wooden structure was erected outside the Cour Carre Du Louvre which was completely coated in flowers to host the show for the womenswear collection.
