In addition to her Oscar-winning acting chops, Lupita Nyong'o is widely known for her impeccable sense of style.

And on Thursday the 32-year-old did not disappoint as she was spotted in New York City for an appearance on The View.

She was an absolute vision in grey as she showed off her fashion credentials - and a big smile - while outside of ABC Studios.

Lupita wore a form-fitting, sleeveless grey dress by Hugo Boss which featured a chic geometric pattern along the front.

The figure-hugging number - which showed off the star's athletic shape - hit at just below her knees and featured a slit along the front.

She covered the dress with a coordinating, chic grey blazer, which the star wore with the collar flipped up.

Lupita Nyong'o put an upscale twist on her business attire when she made an appearance on The View in a full ensemble by Boss.

The 12 Years A Slave star donned a pale grey dress with a matching jacket, red pumps, and the American brand's 'Bespoke' bag.

We love the pop of color that Lupita added to her monochrome separates with her scarlet footwear, but her front split frock stole the show. Pulled from the Fall 2015 collection, the classic sheath was updated with sheer mesh inserts.

The Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens actress added a fun, pop of color to her otherwise monochromatic look with a pair of bright orange pumps.

Lupita hid her eyes behind a pair of trendy black sunglasses, and was spotted carrying a large, grey leather handbag.

She was on The View to discuss her role in the Off Broadway show Eclipsed, taking place at The Public Theater.

In the show, which takes place during the Liberian Civil War and is written by The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira, Lupita plays 'the newest and youngest sex slave that is being held captive by a rebel commander.'

As Lupita describes, the show is 'about these women and how they deal with the situation of war and what war does to who they become.'

The 12 Years a Slave star actually started out as a stage actor, having trained at Yale. However, this is her first time back on stage since performing at Yale.

'It feels so good to have a live audience and to go through that experience together,' the actress gushed of the show, which runs until November 29.

In addition to her work onstage, the busy star has quite the film schedule in the coming years, as she appears in the highly anticipated Star Wars sequel, in addition to drama Queen of Katwe and Disney's live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book.
