Actor Jim Carrey bowed his head in the back of a car as he arrived at the home where his late girlfriend Cathriona White's body was found in a suspected suicide Monday night.

The actor is reported to have met with White's sister, Lisa, for an hour and a half before leaving the LA Sherman Oaks area house with a stack of boxes.

Then last night, a chauffeur-driven blacked out Chevy Suburban arrived at the 30-year-old Irish make-up artist's home with two men and a woman inside.

One man broke the coroner's seal to enter the three-bedroom home and then the group could be heard taking the license plates off Cathriona's black Lexus RX350 from behind the garage door.

The driver of the Chevy said: 'I was just hired as the driver. I don't know anything.'

The garage door then opened and one of the men then drove off the property in the Lexus.

The coroner's seal on White's home was broken by the three unidentified people who entered for a short time

White's Lexus SUV was parked in the garage where the people were heard to have taken off the license plates before one of them drove off in her luxury vehicle

The other man and woman left through the front door - never stating if they were family members, representatives of Scientology or the coroner's office.

Neither of them were carrying any items from the house as they walked out, but it's not known if any of Cathriona's belongings were placed in the Lexus before it left.

The make-up artist was found dead Monday night, and referenced her break-up with Carrey in her suicide note.

She had first dated the comedian for a few months in 2012.

The romance was apparently rekindled this year, and the pair were photographed hand in hand in New York in May and then spotted together at the Kanye Griffin Corcoran Gallery in Los Angeles on September 10.

They were said to have broken up for a second time last Thursday. White, from Cappawhite, Co Tipperary, had moved to California in 2009 and became romantically involved with the actor when they met on a film set three years later.

The pair are said to have bonded over their shared battle with depression.

Carrey has had his own high-profile battle with depression.

He said in a 2004 interview with American TV show 60 Minutes: 'I was on Prozac for a long time.

'It may have helped me out of a jam for a little bit, but people stay on it forever. I had to get off at a certain point because I realized that, you know, everything's just OK.

'There are peaks, there are valleys. But they're all kind of carved and smoothed out, and it feels like a low level of despair you live in.

'Where you're not getting any answers, but you're living OK. And you can smile at the office. You know? But it's a low level of despair. You know?'

The Liar, Liar star, who was one the biggest movie stars in the world in the 1990s, issued a statement following her death saying he was 'shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona'.

He added: 'She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled.

'My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.'

White's family has spoken out on her tragic death.

Her brother James, a decorated war hero, said in a statement: 'The family of Cathriona White sincerely regret the untimely passing of their beloved daughter and sister.

'Cathriona was a shining light in our lives who was loved deeply by her entire family. We will miss her terribly and at this difficult time we ask to be left in private to mourn our loss. There will be no further statements on behalf of the family.'

White's body was found at her home in LA's Sherman Oaks reportedly by two friends and close to pill bottles.

Ed Winter, the assistant-chief of the LA county coroner's office, said: 'It was reported as a possible overdose. Her autopsy is pending. There were some pills found.'

In a posting the day before she had quoted the Irish poet W.B. Yeats's line: 'Faeries, come take me out of this dull world'.

DailyMail.com revealed White, a Scientologist, had been taking 'survival' courses at the religion's celebrity center in the past few months.

The same day White took her life, Carrey was photographed at Milk Studios Los Angeles mingling with women and smiling as he attended the opening of the new Blakhat exhibition.

White's body is set to be repatriated to Ireland, with her step-mother and sister reportedly flying to America to help with the process.
