'She's cute, isn't she?' Paula Abdul laughs with male pal at baseball game as ex John Stamos sings her praises

Paula Abdul had one of the best seats in the house when she watched the Los Angeles Dodgers go head-to-head with the San Diego Padres on Friday. 

The 53-year-old appeared to be in top spirits as she grinned widely beside a male pal, who sat just beside her. 

Perhaps she'd heard from her ex-boyfriend John Stamos - who has been vocal in his praise of the former pop star.

While on Watch What Happens Live, the actor revealed he continues to have a 'great relationship' with the singer, even years after their courtship.

'We had a great relationship,' he later added. 'We're still good friends.' When Andy complimented the former couple by noting they were 'very cute', John said, 'She's cute, isn't she?' 

Paula certainly looked good on Saturday. 

The former X Factor judge's honey locks were styled in loose and full waves, with thick side-swept bangs framing her famous face.

She highlighted her slim dancer's frame in a jet black and edgy jumpsuit, which were worn over a white blouse with a collared neckline.

And adding a splash of colour was her pretty pink purse, which was slung across her body.

Paula seemed to have a lot on her mind as she spoke with her male companion during the game, which saw the Los Angeles Dodgers declare victory over the San Diego Padres, 6-2.

The Opposites Attract songbird appeared to have her pal in stitches at one point, and also playfully grabbed his hand.

The accomplished singer and noted choreographer has been in the spotlight since her album, Forever Your Girl, became a hit in the late 1980's.

Paula currently serves as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, which aired the season finale for its 12th season in September.

She first was a judge on the Australian version of the show in 2014.

Paula started out her entertainment career as a member of the Laker Girls and in a short time became the head choreographer for the famous cheer team of the Los Angeles Lakers.

She won her first Grammy Award in 1991 for Best Music Video for Opposites Attract.
