'She's been offered everything from her own kids' show to a sitcom, and even a part in a teen horror movie!' the source is quoted as saying.

The bubbly Australian television presenter's move stateside could also be partly due to the fact that she reportedly wants to be closer to boyfriend, American wakeboarder Chandler Powell, 18.

Bindi and Chandler - who lives in Florida - are currently doing their best to make their long distance relationship work.

For them, absence appears to be making the heart grow fonder as they use up the cell phone minutes between visits that Bindi said span 'every two to three months.'

Bindi, who is the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, revealed in an interview with People that she is pleased to have met someone who suits her.

'We talk every day and are together every two to three months,' Bindi told the publication.

She added: 'Thankfully I've found someone who is an outdoors kind of person. We'll go have adventures or picnic in the park.'

Bindi, who is currently juggling dance rehearsals with her conservation work with animals, recently stepped out in public for the first time with Chandler and things look to be getting serious.

She was thrilled when the curly-haired hunk landed in Los Angeles last weekend in time for her Monday performance on Dancing With The Stars.

Sharing a photo of the pair embracing on Instagram, Bindi captioned the black and white image: 'He's here (heart emoji).'

Bindi gushed, adding with a nod of appreciation: 'Thank you for always making me laugh, helping me to ice my foot when it hurts, making me tea and hugging me when I'm tired. You're amazing.'

Chandler was on hand to watch Bindi perform a lively quickstep, which she learned in only two days, with her five-time champion partner Derek Hough.

Bindi, who had never danced formally before the competition, had been putting on a brave face with a sore foot but she was required to perform in heels for the tough routine.
