When your lips turn blue after eating under-cooked food, it is normally a cause for concern.

But thankfully Kylie Jenner's lapis lips were an anti-bullying statement, and not because of the sushi she just ate.

The 18-year-old and her father Caitlyn headed out for a dinner date to Sugarfish in Calabasas on Monday.

Don't Caitlyn and Kylie Jenner make quite the fashionable duo? Both parties were looking on point in the style stakes as they headed out for dinner here, with Caitlyn rocking a lacy skirt (a favored look of hers) and Kylie making us take note of that huge fur coat and unusual light-wash jeans.

When we managed to grab a sneak peak under her oversized outerwear, we could see that the jeans not only had tab appliques at the bottom as well as a whole array of distressed details, but they the words 'WHITE' were printed at the top too.

While they're pretty quirky, so is Kylie and she managed to pull them off in serious style.

Light wash jeans have a certain summery vibe to them, but like Kylie proved here, when temperatures drop, you can easily wear them into the new season by teaming with a big coat, although we'd suggest wearing cute ankle boots to finish the look in a more wintry way than sandals!

Despite the unusually gloomy Californian weather, Caitlyn stuck with a summerier look.
