Pete Doherty mingles with fashion pack at Saint Laurent PFW show after his 'mystery medical situation' forced The Libertines to cancel gigs

Fans of The Libertines were sent home from a would-be gig in Camden Town last month when Pete Doherty failed to show up.

The disgruntled crowd, who had been waiting on the band's bad boy frontman for three hours, were told Doherty was unable to make it on to the stage due to a 'medical situation'.

However, the 36-year-old musician appeared to have made a full recovery as he turned out for Paris Fashion Week's Saint Laurent SS16 show on Monday.

His friend, who had opted for an all-black outfit and grey pumps, appeared to be keeping him in line as they arrived at the exclusive event.

Following Pete's disappearing act last month, a statement on The Libertines' Facebook page read: 'We can assure everyone that Peter is safe.

'Clearly this is a very private matter in many respects, but we also feel it necessary to let people know he is ok.'

Pete's disappearance came on the same day the band were set to release their album Anthem For Doomed Youth, their first in just over a decade.

The four-piece - also comprising of Carl Barat, John Hassall and Gary Powell - were also forced to postpone their show at The Ritz in Manchester at the same time.
