Style twins! Co-stars Julianne Moore and Ellen Page take a leaf out of each other's fashion book as they flight out of LA together

They have worked together on a passion project playing on-screen partners and it seems the pair have grown close personally and fashionably.

It looked like a style memoir had been sent out as Julianne Moore and Ellen Page rushed to catch their plane in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday.

Clearly for the Freeheld co-stars declared that on Tuesdays, they wear black.

Ellen led the fashion way in a look that was stylish, subtle and had just a little hint of sexy.

The 28-year-old actress rocked a pair of tight leather pants with a black shirt which she buttoned up to the top of its collar and a sharp suit jacket.

The actress finished off her look with a pair of classic pointy rocker boots and, breaking from the all-black theme, carried a khaki coloured duffle bag.

Following her through TSA and her style lead, was her 54-year-old co-star.

Julianne's flight suit consisted of a pair of skinny jeans with a black and white polka dot shirt under a black blazer.

The iconic actress polished off her look with a pair of part sandal, part booties and ported a big leather black duffle.

The star looked perfectly polished with her red locks cascading in soft curls thanks to the hair and makeup team at The Ellen Show.

The Still Alice actress went straight from speaking to Ellen DeGeneres to her flight from LAX to San Francisco.

On the show, Julianne gushed about her inspirational co-star who not only stars in their new film Freeheld, but also helped bring it to the screen as a producer.

Julianne told Ellen on the show which airs Wednesday: 'It is the story of Laurel Hester and Stacie Andree, the women who changed the domestic partnership act in New Jersey.

'I think it was a meaningful project because [Page] had been attached to it as a producer for so long that it meant so much to her personally.

The Juno actress revealed she was gay in a speech in February last year.

Freeheld is a true story with the 54-year-old Oscar winner playing a late New Jersey detective, Laurel, who fought to leave her pension benefits to her female partner [Stacie, played by Ellen] after being diagnosed with lung cancer. 

The film also stars Steve Carell and Michael Shannon and is in select theatres now.
