And Elizabeth Hurley proved she's only getting better with age as she put on a sexy display on her latest outing in London on Wednesday night.

Liz looked fabulous at 50 as she was pictured heading to famed art retailer Christie's in the capital dressed in a head-turning dress which perfectly flattered her figure.

The Basingstoke-born beauty showcased her hourglass-shaped body in the decorative frock which clung to every contour of her fit form.

The gold and black patterned one-piece featured a plunging neckline which exposed a generous proportion of her ample bust which looked as perky as always.

Liz was in impeccable shape with her calves and upper arms looking especially toned.

The Austin Powers actress ensured all eyes were on her bare flesh as she played it down when it came to her accessories.

She slipped on a pair of fail-safe patent leather nude court heels and carried a similar shade of clutch rendered in a soft suede and featuring an eye-catching gold detail.

Liz was accompanied by an equally glammed-up pal and the pair made their grand entrance into the venue.

She was in the capital to show her support to the newly-released Capability Brown & Belvoir book by The Duchess of Rutland with Jane Pruden.

Liz - who first rose to fame at the age of 29 as Estée Lauder's spokesmodel - launched the cosmetic brand's Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the top of the Empire State Building in New York last week. 

She's also been busy filming scenes for the upcoming second season of her hit drama series, The Royals, in which she portrays Queen Helena.
