Mark Wright takes centre stage in garish fitted tee as he teams up with the Rock Choir for the Make Some Noise fundraiser

He takes his looks pretty seriously.

But Mark Wright, 28, threw caution to the wind and stepped out in a lurid form-fitting T-shirt as he got stuck in with Global's Make Some Noise charity drive in London on Thursday.

Doing his bit for disadvantaged youngsters across the UK, the Heart FM host teamed up with the Rock Choir for a special live-on-air performance.

The former TOWIE star teamed his garish top with skinny jeans and his usual cheesy smile as he rallied the crowd at the Global radio studios in central London.

However, there was no rocking out for Mark as he was restrained in his grey orthopaedic boot, which he has been sporting on and off since he broke a bone in his foot last month.

Despite his poorly foot the dishy TV presenter, who wed former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan in May, appeared to be in great spirits as he organised his troop.

Other stars including Ellie Goulding, Simon Cowell and One Direction were also involved in the fundraiser.

Ellie, 28, put her unique spin on a number of theme tunes from the nation's favourite TV shows as she did her bit for the charity drive.

The Anything Could Happen singer had a stab at the Game Of Thrones entrée before performing the iconic soundtracks from Friends, The Simpsons and Neighbours.

Simon Cowell was also roped in to help Make Some Noise, the charity set up by Global to give a voice to small charities that struggle to raise awareness.

The X Factor's head honcho rapped to the Flo Rida hit I Don’t Like It, I Love It - complete with visuals - much to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s amusement.

One Direction were also on Capital’s breakfast show and the foursome battled it out in a highly fraught quiz to see who were the most knowledgeable.

Elsewhere, Olly Murs became the first person to broadcast live on air across eight different radio stations in the space of an hour.

Little Mix stars Jesy Nelson and Perrie Edwards were also enlisted by Dave and Lisa to go undercover with headsets into the office, where they mocked one member of staff's beard and ordered the Capital team to chant Little Mix in unison.

A host of other celebs also turned out for the fundraiser, including Ed Sheeran, 5 Seconds Of Summer and Nathan Sykes.

For the second year running Global united all its brands - Heart, Capital, Capital Xtra, Radio X, Classic FM, LBC, Smooth, Smooth Extra and Gold - to raise as much money as possible and give a voice to small charities and projects that struggle to raise awareness.

These charities are often operating on a shoestring or tackling an issue that’s not well understood.

Global’s Make Some Noise brought all these listeners together along with Global presenters and some of the biggest names in music and entertainment to make some noise for disadvantaged youngsters across the UK living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.
