Many fans of her series have been bloodthirsty for a Buffy The Vampire Slayer reunion.

And though Sarah Michelle Gellar all but put the kibosh on those hopes, she did look fantastic while doing so.

The 38-year-old actress was spotted leaving a taping of Watch What Happens Live in New York City late Wednesday.

Though she may have disappointed a several followers by pretty much shooting down the idea of a reunion for her hit nineties series, she did make the night of a few others as she signed some autographs and even posed for a few pictures.

Sarah seemed to be in a delightful mood as she flashed a big smile while interacting with her fans and even while just walking along on the sidewalks in the Big Apple.

The blonde beauty looked stylish as always in a business chic ensemble for the appearance.

Sarah Michelle Gellar made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in New York in a navy blue jumpsuit and bright orange pumps. The suede heels were by Kurt Geiger, a British shoe designer famous for his stick thin stilettos.

We adore the bright hue that really pops against the Buffy The Vampire Slayer's dark ensemble. She completed her look with a crossbody bag and a leather jacket.

Her signature blonde locks were done in braids on the top of her head down to behind her ear as she sported natural, complimentary make-up on her face topped off by a swipe of pink lip and purple eye shadow.

On the Bravo chat programme a fan called in asking if there was a possible Buffy The Vampire Slayer reunion on her horizon.

Sarah answered: 'I'm kind of old. I am. I feel like it would be Buffy with a walker, it would be like a wooden walker and I would like stake vampires with my walker.

'I'm telling you, this is late. This is exciting for me. This is like woohoo. I feel like they would place me with someone much younger like one of those Pretty Little Liars or something.'

The New York born star voices the character Seventh Sister in the Disney Channel animated show's second season, which is set between Star Wars: Episode III and IV.

Sarah will be talking more about her light saber wielding character at the show's panel discussion at New York's Comic-Con this week.
