Starting her young! Beyonce gives daughter Blue Ivy, three, a taste of culture with a visit to Frida Kahlo exhibition in NY

Her daughter may only be three years old, but Beyonce is making sure daughter Blue Ivy is suitably culturally enriched even with her tender years.

The 34-year-old singer posted pictures on Instagram on Friday of her attending the Frida Kahlo exhibition with the youngster.

Blue can be seen next to her mother clutching a phone as Beyonce beams down at her, placing a hand on her daughter's curls.

The singer is wearing a leather pants and white shirt ensemble, featuring a neck tie.

The exhibition is part of a display at the New York Botanical Gardens.

Featuring more than a dozen of Frida Kahlo's paintings, it looks at her use of plant imagery in some of her artworks.

Go for the monochrome look with an Alice + Olivia tie neck top

She recently returned from a nearly month long European holiday where rompers and one-piece bathing suits were her go to fashion choices.

But back in chilly NYC, Beyonce decided to cover up a bit more. The Partition singer donned a silk blouse, flare leather pants and a long coat all by Alice + Olivia.

We love the monochrome look on the sultry crooner who wore dark shades to complement her ensemble. Her tie neck top is a great item for Fall since it can be paired with jeans, skirts, or layered under a blazer and matching trousers.

The display also features a recreation of her garden which was at her home Casa Azul, where she lived in Mexico City.

Beyonce also posted a shot of the sign featuring the artists name for her home.

Beyonce must of had to squeeze in her visit as she has had a very busy schedule of late.

The star has been fulfilling concert dates, and has also just had to move house, as well as returning recently from a lavish European break.

She is set to move into a lavish $45 million mansion.

The superstar couple are renters, and have signed a one-year lease on the mansion in posh Los Angeles neighborhood Holmby Hills, according to TMZ

The five-bedroom home was previously owned by LA Dodgers owner Frank McCourt, who sold it to a British billionaire last year.

The billionaire is now renting it out for $150,000 a month, reports TMZ.

Beyonce and Jay Z were forced to move after the owner of their previous Holmby Hills home decided to sell. That house had seven-bedrooms and also rented for $150,000 a month.

And at 20,600 square feet, their three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy will have plenty of room to play.

The mansion living areas boast floor-to-wall windows and white marble floors, and there is also a gourmet kitchen, spa and steam room.

The couple also own an apartment in Tribeca, New York, but have decided to move to Los Angeles permanently because they believe it is a better place to raise their daughter, says TMZ.

They relocated from the Empire State to California earlier this year, and Blue Ivy is reportedly enrolled in a $15,000-a-year preschool.
