She's made a swift return to work following the birth of her second son Sasha in January.

And Shakira proved that balancing mummy duties with a high-flying career in pop is all in a day's work on Thursday when she brought eldest Milan to her commercial shoot in Spain.

Looking sensational in a teeny gold bikini top and harem trousers, the 38-year-old broke away from her belly-dancing only to dote on her two-year-old on the golden sands of Tosse de Mar.

Mummy duties: Shakira was seen doting on her eldest son Milan on Thursday as she tried to film a commercial in Tossa de Mar, Spain

Between her international commitments and her footballing partner Gerard Pique's role in Barcelona FC, it looked like Shakira was left with the children on Thursday.

The stunning blonde, having already gained back her phenomenal shape, was clearly back in promotional mode when she was seen shooting by the sea.

Shakira's hair was blown out in ethereal, natural curls and she was on sensational form with her arms flung out wide.

The Hips Don't Lie singer was barefoot, dancing on the boards by the sea with body chains jingling around her toned middle.

Later, as she played with her little one in front of the sunset, the yummy mummy covered up in a light grey robe.

Milan, who became a big brother at the start of this year, was in his swimming shorts and a matching blue T-shirt.

He looked like he couldn't wait to be planted by the water's edge as a protective Shakira carried him across the stones to protect his tiny bare feet.

She too, seemed pleased that her little one had accompanied her to the shoot and directed giddy smiles at fans who saw her carrying back up through the streets once filming wrapped.

Shakira didn't seem to have lost an ounce of body confidence through the birth of her second child in January.

She and Gerard started their family at the start of 2013, having met in spring 2010 and dated for just over two years.
