Bale claimed the Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and Fans' Player of the Year having scored six of the nine Wales goals during the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.

Bale also assisted two goals to leave his country on the brink of progress to France next year, a first major tournament since 1958.

Wales only need one point from two remaining fixtures against Bosnia in Zenica and Andorra in Cardiff to secure their place.

Reflecting on star performer Bale manager Coleman said: 'Look at the last year and he's scored some incredible goals for us.'

He added: 'All the players have done fantastic, but in my book he deserves it because of what he's done in this campaign.'
