She is best known for her roles in Watchmen and The Proposal.

But as talented an actress as Malin Akerman is, no doubt it was her legs that drew the most attention on her latest outing.

It was definitely quite the leggy display as she rocked a clinging white and black high-low skirt featuring stripes in several different directions all over it.

She teamed the sexy skirt with a pair of open toed black leather heels and a matching sleeveless top.

Her signature blonde locks were pulled back in an elegant bun while she had natural, complimentary make-up on her face including a swipe of bright pink lip.

Malin was on the morning chat show to discuss her new comedy-horror film called The Final Girls.

The blonde beauty described the film on Today: 'I wouldn't really call it a horror, it's more like a Back To The Future. You know you go in and it's really commentary on these really bad sort of eighties scripted horror films.'

She praised director Todd Strauss-Schulson as she said he did the film in a really smart and unique way.

Even if the movie has a silly tone to it, Malin insists there is an emotional element to it as young actress Taissa Farmiga plays her daughter.

The Swedish-born beauty explained: 'It's a really beautiful mother-daughter relationship that we get to watch and it'll pull at your heartstrings a little bit. Its a little bit of everything.'

It also stars Nina Dobrev, Alia Shawkat, Thomas Middleditch, Alexander Ludwig, Adam DeVine and Chloe Bridges. Finals Girls hit theatres in the US on Friday with a DVD premiere in the UK on Monday.
