NEW Sarena Moore's (left) faithful service dog remained by her side even as she was shot dead by a depraved gunman in Oregon. The mother-of-three was sitting in her wheelchair with her beloved dog Bullet (right) beside her when Chris Harper-Mercer burst into her classroom at Umpqua Community College and opened fire. On the morning of October 1, Bullet lay docile - as he was trained - when Harper-Mercer killed the 44-year-old, who was one of his first victims, as well as eight others.

Kanye West launched a tirade on Twitter about companies that include in-app purchases on games that kids play. The rant was sparked by the rapper's two-year-old daughter North racking up some charges while playing games on an iPad. 'F*** any game company that puts in-app purchases on kids games!!!' the 38-year-old tweeted.

Danielle and Ken Lambert lost their children Kaleigh, 5, and Shane, 4, (top right) on January 11, 2008. Danielle's sister, mother-of-two Marci Thibault (bottom left), picked them up for a pajama party with their cousins that night but then had a psychotic break. She stopped the car in a ditch along the highway and walked the children into oncoming traffic - killing all three of them. Three years later, Danielle gave birth to fraternal twin boys. The couple said it has been great to have a 'second chance' at being parents, but that it would be impossible to forget the children they've lost. Danielle and Ken have since founded a suicide awareness organization dedicated to helping other families see the warning signs they missed.

A new Frank Sinatra biography claims that there is no way Ronan Farrow could be the legendary crooner's son, despite hints from Mia Farrow. Sinatra: The Chairman, is the second volume of James Kaplan's biography of the singer. It claims that Sinatra was impotent and incapacitated by serious stomach surgery around the time Ronan Farrow, pictured left, was conceived.

A Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-300 collapsed at Changi Airport on Sunday morning before it was due to depart for Hong Kong. No crew or passengers were on board at the time. An engineer was in the plane but Singapore Airlines said he was not hurt.

As thousands of African-Americans gathered at the National Mall to mark the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March, a female speaker led the massive crowd in a 'down, down USA' chant Saturday morning. The unidentified Native American woman, who spoke briefly after Chief Ernie Longwalker of the Red Wind Nation, proclaimed that Muammar 'Gaddafi is still alive' and at one point, she held up what appeared to be a Black Panther Party t-shirt.

Brothers John and Clarence Anglin and fellow inmate Frank Morris (left to right) fled Alcatraz (inset) on a makeshift raft in June 1962 and were never seen again, with prison officials insisting they drowned. But relatives of the Anglins say they have proof the men paddled to shore and survived, which includes signed Christmas cards sent to the brothers' mother and photograph which they claim is evidence they were alive in the 1970s. This means, they claim, that the fugitives - who would now be in their 80s - could still be alive. Alcatraz officials and the FBI insisted that the men drowned, with the investigation closed in 1979. They say no one has ever successfully fled from the notorious jail.

The siblings and Annalisa's four children and fiance had been walking through the Big Four Ice Caves (pictured) in Washington when a large pile of rock and ice fell on them, at the time injuring David, Annalisa's fiance and one of her sons, as well as two others. The trail has since been closed to the public indefinitely. Just days after Annalisa's death, her four children were orphaned after their father was shot dead outside a San Bernardino, California bar.

Tragic Cathriona White was laid to rest beside her late father Pat who died of brain cancer in September 2012. Four painfully thin pit bulls were spotted by Jeanette Gonzalez in California this month and thanks to Animal Control they are in a much safer place and there is an animal abuse investigation underway. The Southeast Area Animal Control Authority in Downey confirmed that they removed the mother and her three puppies. In addition, they removed five other dogs found in the home Tuesday and are searching for answers at the home where the dogs were found.

One dedicated daughter launched a Twitter campaign to get her mother a date, since she hasn't been on one in at least a decade due to a complicated marriage situation. Dianne Davidoff, 42, pictured right, of Oregon, who is accused of fatally shooting her son Jacob, pictured left, in the back on September 24 tried to save his life afterwards according to an affidavit released on Wednesday. According to a probable cause affidavit filed, Gresham police officer Mark DeLong said Davidoff was saying, 'I killed my Jakey! I can't believe I killed my Jakey!' when he arrived at the residence.

Having been plucked from poverty in a Cinderella rags-to-riches story, Israeli teenager Sofia Mechetner opened the Paris fashion show of one of the world's most famous labels earlier this month (left). But having the teenager parade on catwalks has provoked an angry backlash from campaigners, who slammed Dior for taking a 'disappointing step back in time'.
