Easy rider! Dashing Norman Reedus rolls to The Walking Dead season six premiere on his trusty motorcycle

He took a break from beheading zombies to spruce himself up.

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, 46, looked downright dapper as he attended The Walking Dead season six premiere event in New York on Friday.

The actor wasn't carrying his character's handy crossbow, but Norman brought something else - his really cool motorcycle that he rode down the red carpet with headlight blasting.

Though he is normally covered in dirt and gore on the show, the Boondock Saints star turned up looking impeccable in a black tuxedo with white pocket square and standard black necktie.

He was arguably the man of the hour, as he was tasked with pumping up the audience by riding his character Daryl Dixon's iconic motorcycle down the center of Madison Square Garden.

After giving it some gas, the actor roared up on stage, parked, and then got off and waved to the cheering crowd.

'I guess there is that damaged quality, that's something I might have unconsciously run with early on. Maybe I still do. It gives some people an underdog quality—you want to root for them as they fight their way through something. Maybe I have a little bit of that.'

He recently briefly departed The Walking Dead to shoot another moody project, the crime drama Triple 9 which is about a gang a corrupt cops working together to pull off a heist.
