She's known for her glittering personality, especially when it comes to making promotional appearances.

And Jennifer Lawrence appeared to live up to her free-spirited reputation, as she joined broadcast journalist Diane Sawyer, 69, to film a segment in New York City's Union Square on Saturday.

The 25-year-old actress could hardly wipe a smile off her face, as she stylishly strutted around the city.

The Hunger Games star showed off her flirty flair in a plunging, loose-fitted, lightweight white mini dress which she teamed with sheer black tights.

The blonde beauty added a menswear touch by covering up with a black blazer and sporting a pair of black patent leather loafers.

JLaw accessorised with a metallic Y-necklace and reflective sunglasses, as her light locks were styled in soft curls.

Diane appeared to be in high spirits like her peer, smiling while walking alongside the Academy Award-winning actress.

The news anchor was clad in a button-down black blouse and matching trousers while bundling up with a navy jacket.

Both Diane and Jennifer are from Louisville, Kentucky, so they have much more in common than the entertainment industry.

The same day, Jennifer was spotted in another ensemble while out and about in NYC.

Meanwhile, the actress has been spending loads of her spare time with comedian, Amy Schumer.

On Monday, the two - who collaborating professionally as well - were spotted taking a hike alongside Aziz Ansari.

Jennifer has also been working on the film Passengers, which is filming in Georgia, with Chriss Pratt.

The Morten Tyldum flick (The Imitation Game), is described as a romantic sci-fi about a spacecraft carrying thousands of people to a distant colony.

A malfunction in one of the cryogenic sleeping chambers causes one of the passengers, Jim Preston (Pratt), to thaw out while everyone else in the chamber has 90 years left of sleep travel.

Faced with the prospect of dying alone, he awakens a fellow passenger, Aurora (Lawrence) and sparks fly.

Lawrence Fishburne is slated to play Colonel Alexander and Michael Sheen will also star, however, his character has not been revealed yet.

It has been revealed that Oscar-winner Lawrence demanded $20 million for Passengers - almost double what Pratt will be taking home for the project.
