The duo were acting out the famous dance scene from the 1994 Quentin Tarantino movie where Travolta played Vincent Vega and Thurman played Mia Wallace and danced together at the fictional Jack Rabbit Slim's diner.

Jay, who was sporting long hair until last week, had to have his newly-sheared locks styled into extensions to achieve Travolta's long-haired look.

He looked sharp in a dark suit and looked uncannily like his Hollywood counterpart as he kicked off the dance in a diner style environment.

Aliona was every inch the leading woman in a sexy white shirt and fitted black trousers as she expertly led the former pop star around the stage.

Over two weeks they have been joint fourth on the leader board however on Saturday night they soared to second place as they received a handsome 32 points.

Using light sabres as props they danced an impressive routine which included cart wheel lifts and various high-energy moves before Kellie screamed excitedly at the end of the dance.

Star Wars on the floor: Bruno was just as happy with the moves: 'I could feel the force princess Leia. Full of content but it wasn't overwhelmed by theme'
