The petite star - who's thought to be in the British capital to film new BBC drama SS-GB - looked stunning as she let her skin breathe for the low-key outing, showcasing her flawless complexion.

Kate's role in the upcoming period drama is her first foray into UK television, following roles in films including Blue Crush, Still Alice and Superman Returns.

The TV mini-series - which begins production this month - is based on the novel by Len Deighton, in which a British homicide detective investigates a murder in German-occupied England during World War II.

According to Deadline, Kate will star as journalist Barbara Barga alongside Sam Riley who is set to play the role of Archer.

And it seems that the US actress is settling into London life, as she shared a snap of herself in the capital earlier this week.

Taking to Instagram, she posted a photo of the bottom half of her outfit to her 256k followers, surrounded by piles of leaves, simply captioned: 'Hello London'.
