Moves like Jagger! Rolling Stones frontman Mick, 72, shows off his fancy footwork as he hits the dancefloor in Cuba

He might be 72, but Mick Jagger can still serve up some serious Satisfaction on the dancefloor.

The Rolling Stones frontman was spotted cutting loose at Shangri La club in Havana, Cuba last week, partying the night away at the exclusive venue with a crowd of female fans.

The rock legend appeared to be having a blast as he mingled with local revelers at the nightspot, proving why Maroon 5 penned their hit song Moves Like Jagger as a tribute to his fancy footwork.

Clad in an electric blue trousers and a simple white shirt, Mick strutted around the club, shimmying his hips in time to the beat.

The British musician was clearly making the most of a free evening after allegedly travelling to Cuba to find potential venues for the band's Latin American tour planned for next year.

Local newspaper Granma reported that Mick was on a private visit to the country with one of his children, and used the opportunity to do some scouting.

He was apparently seen at several Old Havana and Cuban night clubs, as well as watching a concert by musical group Bamboleo in the capital.

Rock music was frowned on in communist Cuba for years, but has increased in popularity over the past decade.

It was recently confirmed that Mick and his bandmates Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood are planning to record a new album together, their first since 2005's A Bigger Bang.

The rock 'n' roll icons have no plans to retire anytime soon and Mick still feels the same passion for touring that he did when the band first took to the stage over five decades ago.

'Every night the audience is like a challenge for me. You think it's the same show, but it's a different show, different place, different audience,' Mick told the Associated Press.

'I'm not sure if all young bands want to stay on the road as long as we have. Maybe they'll want to do something else.'
