The Candyman wins $25k in damages from his NANNY over naked sushi photo stoush - but judge rules he would have received more if he didn't post snaps of nude women at his house on Instagram

The Candyman Travers Beynon wins $25k from NANNY over naked sushi photo

Gold Coast party king and tobacco tycoon Travers Beynon has triumphed in a legal battle against his own former nanny over claims surrounding a photoshoot where his wife, Taesha Beynon, was laid out naked on a table and covered in sushi. The Queensland District Court heard the Candyman's former staffer Michelle Manthey (pictured bottom right) alleged in a TV interview that Mr Beynon's young daughters were present when the risque photoshoot took place. In awarding Mr Beynon $25,000 in damages, Judge Paul Smith said there was no evidence Mr Beynon had let his children watch while the gaudy pictures were taken. But the judge said Mr Beynon would receive 'far less' damages than a person without a reputation for posting pictures of 'bare-breasted' and 'barely clad' women at his home on his popular Instagram account. Mr Beynon is pictured centre with his son, and left and top right with the sushi display.
