She's endured an emotional two months following the abrupt end of her engagement to Zayn Malik, but it was an upbeat Perrie Edwards who flew into Sydney with her Little Mix band-mates on Monday morning.

The group - in Australia for a live performance on The X Factor - made their way out of the airport after a lengthy flight from the United Kingdom, where they've been furiously promoting their forthcoming third album, Get Weird. 

Leading the way, Perrie flashed a beaming smile for fans stationed outside the arrivals lounge while wheeling her luggage trolley through the exit.

The 22-year-old looked typically stylish in a knee-length coat and heavily tinted shades, while casual leggings and trainers completed the ensemble.

Following close behind, band-mates Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall looked comparatively jet-lagged as they greeted fans before making their way towards a waiting car. 

Jade, 22, caught the eye in a pair of on-trend ripped jeans and Doctor Marten boots - a look she enhanced by sporting a bold black crop top beneath her loose fitting varsity jacket.

Meanwhile Leigh-Anne, 24, opted for a sleeveless Balmain T-shirt and ripped skinny jeans with monochrome Nike trainers. 

Bringing up the rear, Jesy, also 24, sported a black vest that exposed the intricate floral tattoo on her lower left arm as she hefted her luggage out of the airport. 

The British band, former on the UK version of The X Factor, will perform new single Love Me Like You when the show airs this week.

Previous single Black Magic - the lead from their new album - climbed to number eight on the Australian chart following its release in May.

Speaking to news.com, Jade admitted their tight friendship has been another defining factor in her recovering from the sudden split. 

'She’s good,' she said. 'We’re very lucky we have each other whatever happens and our main thing will always be our friendship because whenever something happens in our personal lives, that is all that matters.' 

Get Weird is released on November 6.
