The look of love: Benedict Cumberbatch can't tear his eyes away from wife Sophie Hunter as she dazzles in a white dress at the Black Mass London Film Festival premiere
They tied the knot on Valentine's Day earlier this year.
And it seems that Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter are still heavily in the throes of fresh honeymoon-style romance, as they put on a sweet display on the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival on Sunday evening.
The couple were out to celebrate the premiere of Black Mass, in which Benedict, 39, appears in one of the leading roles.

Supporting spouse: Sophie Hunter was out to support her husband Benedict Cumberbatch at the Black Mass premiere during the BFI London Film Festival in the British capital on Sunday evening
But it's fair to say all eyes were on lovely Sophie, who looked chic in a white gown as she accompanied her man at the Leicester Square-based event.
The 37-year-old theatre director was a fashionable vision in the sleeveless pale dress, that flowed loosely over her slender frame.
Its top was covered in a mesh-style overlay of silver circles, adding a fashion-forward twist to the look.

Work winter whites in a stunning dress like Sophie
White dresses have been all over the red carpet this season with actresses like Sienna Miller and Alexandra Weaver wowing in various floor-length styles. Sophie Hunter got the memo too.
She was a vision in white wearing this incredible Christian Dior Couture 2015 creation. The dress was the perfect fusion of light and weight with a caged top detail that led to constructed pleats. The pocket accent was a very cool touch.
Obviously we can't all be married to Benedict Cumberbatch so therefore we can't all get our manicured mitts on Dior, but we can recreate the look with these stunning gowns below.

Perfect pair: It may have been Benedict's evening, but he couldn't tear his eyes away from his lovely lady
Romance worthy of Shakespeare: Showing off his current longer hair - for his role on the West End stage as Hamlet - the actor gazed lovingly at his wife and the mother of his child, Christopher
Injecting a further touch of sartorial savvy to the look, she kept her hands firmly in the pockets on the billowing skirt.
Her brunette locks were swept up into a not-too-polished up-do, her fringe framing her face perfectly.
And Benedict couldn't have looked more dapper as he stood next to his lovely lady, and the mother of his son Christopher.
Here's looking at you! Benedict was all-smiles as he and Sophie enjoyed a private moment in front of the press and the hundreds of fans at Leicester Square

One for the book shelf? One fan had been prepared, bringing along what seemed to be a copy of Hamlet to be signed
The handsome Sherlock actor - who appears in Black Mass alongside leading man Johnny Depp as William 'Billy' Bulger, looked slick in a classic black suit with a white shirt and black tie.
His hair was slightly grown out, thanks to his current role on the West End stage in a production of Shakespeare's Hamlet, but it was a look certainly that suits him.
The British thespian couldn't tear his eyes away from Sophie, as they cuddled up close in front of the crowds and photographers on the red carpet, the two of them gazing at each other as they posed for pictures.
Also at the premiere was leading man Johnny, and his beautiful wife, actress Amber Heard.
Amber looked truly stunning as she pretty much stole the show from her husband, as she dazzled in a vintage-esque satin and lace dress that showed off her fantastic figure to a tee.
The 29-year-old's black frock hugged neatly to her slender curves, and was complete with a short fishtail hemline with a lace inlay, and a waist-cinching wide panel across her middle.
Sticking to a theme: Black Mass' leading man Johnny Depp stepped out with his beautiful wife Amber Heard, both opting for black ensembles
Perfect fit: Amber, 29, wowed in her figure-hugging satin dress with a lace inlay on the mid-length hem
Proud wife: Amber happily accompanied Johnny, 52, at the London premiere of Black Mass, in which he stars as notorious mobster Whitey Bulger
Matching pair: Johnny also opted for black, and teamed his three-piece suit and black shirt with a collection of anchor-adorned necklaces
Sticking together: The loved-up couple held hands throughout their appearance on the red carpet
With her golden blonde tresses coiffed into submission in elegant curls, and her eyes accentuated with just the right amount of smokey eyeshadow, the Magic Mike XXL star was a magnificent addition to the red carpet on Sunday evening.
And Johnny, 52, showed off his unique style, seemingly aiming to match that of his spouse in his black three-piece suit and matching shirt combo.
The Hollywood star added several long chains, including a couple with anchors, sitting over his broad chest.
Hollywood's hottest: The lovebirds, who tied the knot in February, certainly know how to put on a stylish display on the red carpet
Insperable: Amber has stood by the 52-year-old star's side during his lengthy promotional trail for Black Mass

Silk sensation: Amber's elegant gown clung to her curves in all the right places and featured pretty black lace embellishment on the hips
Mobbed: The Hollywood star was happy to sign autographs and pose for photos with eager fans
Like their red carpet companions Benedict and Sophie, they too put on a sweet display, holding hands throughout their time at the premiere, looking loved-up.
Meanwhile, Black Mass focuses on Boston gangster Whitey Bulger and his unholy alliance with the FBI, and sees the Pirates of the Caribbean star in one of his most critically-acclaimed roles of recent years.
Bulger, a mobster whose reign of terror that lasted from the 1970s until his disappearance in 1995, has been expertly immortalised by the talented star.
Matching ensembles: Amber looked incredible in a black silk number, while Johnny donned a smart three-piece suit to match his wife's dress

Ladylike: Amber went solo as she ascended the stairs at the venue, looking the picture of elegance

Popular with fans: Amber was only too happy to chat to excited onlookers and take selfies with them
Benedict appears as Bulger's brother, who was in the midst of becoming the President of the Massachusetts State Senate at the same time as Whitey's rise to notoriety.
He revealed playing a politician in his latest film has not whetted his appetite to pursue any political aspirations.
The 39-year-old actor said on the red carpet: 'This role didn't give me a taste of politics. American politics is a whole different thing. I had to do quite a bit of learning what a state senate and a president of a state senate actually does and what it means.'
Floral frock: Actress Brie Larson looked chic in an embroidered minidress with statement earrings
Dapper dude: Downton star Allen Leech cut a seriously smart figure on the red carpet in his suit
Dapper dudes: Johnny cosied up to his Black Mass co-star, Benedict Cumberbatch, once inside the venue
On-screen siblings: Benedict appears as Bulger's brother, who was in the midst of becoming the President of the Massachusetts State Senate at the same time as Whitey's rise to notoriety
Chalk and cheese: The pair appeared to be getting on famously in spite of their different styles
Joking around: The Sherlock star was in great spirits as he promoted his new film
Cumberbatch, best known for his portrayal of sleuth Sherlock Holmes in the BBC drama, admitted there is an 'added pressure' in playing real-life character.
He explained: 'I did feel pressure especially those who are still alive, still in the vicinity and who everyone knew I was playing. It is a bit of a pressure but I think it's one of those challenges I enjoy. The accent was the thing I was most nervous about.'
Depp, 52, spent hours in the make-up chair wearing silicone prosthetics, contact lenses and a receding hairline wig.
All together now: (From L-R) Director Scott Cooper, Benedict, Festival Director Clare Stewart, Johnny and producer John Lesher all struck a pose
Close colleagues: The pair laced their arms around each other as they stood side-by-side
Smart suit line-up: Producer Patrick McCormick joined Cooper, Cumberbatch, Depp, Lesher and Josh Berger
Supporting role: Benedict has taken a backseat to Johnny's leading role in the new film
He said: 'That was the whole point - to lose myself for me and the audience. Hopefully within the first five minutes they forget about the baggage of the other characters I've played.'
The film's director said there was no doubt in his mind that Depp was perfect for the role of Whitey.
Critics have hailed his performance and there is speculation he could receive another Oscar nomination.
Cooper said: 'He's an actor who is daring and bold and he has played real-life characters in the past. He isn't afraid to completely shed his personality to transform into the man you see on screen - cold, calculating and violent.'
The crime drama based on the novel of the same name by Dick Lehr and Gerard O'Neill and, although it had its official London premiere on Sunday night, it has thus far been a huge success in the United States since its release in mid-September.
Black Mass is set for release in the UK on November 27.
