Esther has previously spoken of how friction with Kris Jenner interfered with her relationship with son Bruce.
But since the end of Bruce's marriage, and his subsequent decision to transition into womanhood, the two have formed a new bond - that of mother and daughter.
And as she approaches her 90th birthday the Jenner family matriarch has embraced her new daughter.
It was Esther who supported Caitlyn during her first public appearance at the 2015 ESPY Awards.
Supportive: Esther watched proudly as Caitlyn accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

On her daughter's I Am Cait TV show, Esther has talked of her struggle to accept the loss of her Olympian son Bruce.
‘But then I thought,’ Esther continues. ‘You know what? I’m gaining [a daughter].’
Among many hugs, the trailers for the tell-all showed the mother and daughter discussing the metamorphosis at lengths.

‘I’m still the same person,’ said Caitlyn. ‘That’s your soul,’ Esther agreed.
And the two certainly appear closer than they did just a year ago, when Caitlyn was still married to Kris.
Esther told MailOnline last night.
'She's domineering - it's do it her way, or there's no way. I had very little to do with Kris. I stayed away from her as much as I could.'
Asked if Kris is a controlling monster like she is often branded, Esther says: 'That's accurate. I don't know why she is. I don't think she treated anybody very well.
