Giddy Katie Piper has a giggle with her make-up artist as she looks worse for wear leaving the TV Choice Awards 2015

Katie Piper attended the TV Choice Awards 2015 on Monday evening and had clearly enjoyed her time at the bash, laughing with her makeup artist as she made her way home in the back of a taxi.

After letting her hair down at the event, Katie was pictured looking slightly worse for wear as she decided to call it a night with close pal Toby Salvietto.

The beauty, 31, had a case of the giggles as she made a swift exit from the Hilton Park Lane venue in London while Toby planted a big friendly kiss on her forehead.

The stylish star had taken the celebratory event by storm, partnering up with her makeup artist as the two appeared to enjoy their night to the fullest.

And Katie's fun friendship with Toby didn't go unnoticed by other guests at the award ceremony, with the mother-of-one tweeting: 'So someone asked me tonight if @TobySalvietto is my husband! Chill now Bae has better contour than me!!!'

The body-confidence campaigner, who revealed she got ready for the party in her work toilets, shared a joke with Toby over the amount of makeup he wears, laughing at how anyone could imagine them being married.

Before the night took a drunken turn, Katie put on a stylish display as she appeared on the red carpet dressed in statement monochrome separates.

The mother-of-one teamed the simply stylish piece with a black and white crop top which featured a thin bandeau and two sash-style straps.

A pair of white platform-heeled sandals lengthened her petite frame and she chose to forgo any type of accessory except for her engagement ring.

Katie looked polished to perfection, opting for a nude lip and smokey eyes with her hair worn in a side-parting and poker straight.

Katie - who has had to undergo more than 40 operations after ex David Lynch ordered associate Stefan Sylvestre to throw industrial-strength sulphuric acid in her face in an unprovoked attack in 2008 - appeared to be recovering well from her recent nose surgery which she had two weeks ago to help her start breathing through it.

At the time, she detailed the procedure on her Instagram page with the help of a before and after photo.

She captioned the images: 'I've had a skin graft taken from bum my cheek and grafted inside both of my nostrils to hopefully support and open my airwaves. Looking forward to taking some deep breaths soon - boyfriend says I sound like a baby lion when I try now so early days at the moment!'

Katie - who is restricted to a diet of liquids after the acid burned the inside of her throat - will have further surgery on her oesophagus at the end of the year which will render her bed-ridden for six months.

She was recently told by doctors she is probably unable to carry a baby again due to a vitamin deficiency which is just one of the knock-on effects of her burns-related injuries.

However, she remains hopeful and has revealed that she was told she 'probably wouldn't be able to conceive naturally in the first place' because of the amount of drugs she's been prescribed.

Katie said in an interview with The Times: 'I never thought I'd be a mother anyway. I had a choice back then - between taking drugs to save my eyesight - drugs that meant I would become infertile - or conceiving.'

Optimistic: Although Katie's been told she probably won't be able to carry a baby again, she remains positive
