The good times just got better for Cody Simpson during a late night out in West Hollywood on Monday evening.

Looking distinctly worse for wear, the 18-year old singer made a bleary exit from favourite haunt The Nice Guy following a night out with pals.

Cody had good company on the night in the rather athletic form of an attractive female, and she was by his side as they clambered into the rear of a waiting car and pulled away.

The Australian singer looked typically casual in a black T-shirt and jeans during his latest Hollywood outing, a look he completed with scuffed tan leather boots and an edgy leather jacket.

With his trademark tousled locks partially visible beneath a jaunty blue baseball cap it was a spirited Cody who greeted onlookers on the night.

He was all the more noticeable by virtue of his latest growth of facial hair, which he had gamely styled into a wispy moustache and beard.

Cody's night had started innocently enough with an appearance at Cosmopolitan's 50th anniversary party where he posed with singer Alexx Mack - toting a $967 python-printed AEVHA London 'Dromeda' clutch

Arriving at Hollywood venue Ysabel the singer cheerfully posed for photos before making his way inside - where he rubbed shoulders with the great and good of Los Angeles' thriving social scene.

Cody has been enjoying a protracted stay in the United States while he promotes his new album, Free.

The singer kicked off his current tour in September, with his latest performance coming at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday evening.
