Jennifer Lopez appeared bruised and bloody while in New York City on Tuesday.
But fans can rest assured, it just part of filming gritty scenes for her new police drama Shades of Blue.
The actress looked like she'd just be in a serious fight as she exited a store with a bloody nose, and bruises on her face.

Lopez had fake blood smeared over her chin, chest and hands as she filmed what appeared to be a dramatic confrontation.
The 46-year-old was hard at work on the set of her new NBC show, with costar Ray Liotta by her side.
Lopez filmed scenes in a bodega, leaning against the glass door and looking concerned look as cameras rolled.
The singer and actress plays an FBI informant who goes undercover to root out corruption in the NYPD in the police drama.

The actress' green shirt was partially unbuttoned and untucked as if she'd just been in a nasty scuffle.
The singer, dancer, and actress put her famous figure on display in capri trousers and a green blouse.
Her costar Liotta also looked worse for wear, with a nasty scrape on his hand and knuckles.

Adding some edge to her outfit, Lopez sported a leather jacket with a hoodie as she stomped around in impeccably white Converse sneakers.
The singer was also seen playfully swinging her handbag in the air as she strolled down the street.
While she got a small leather purse swinging in the air, J-Lo also carried another bag which she kept close by her side.

In the new drama set to air on NBC mid-season, J-Lo plays a single mom and cop who becomes an informant for the FBI's anti-corruption task force.
She also serves as a producer on the series which co-stars Ray Liotta and Drea de Matteo.
In addition to all of that, she's mother to her twins Emme and Max, seven, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

She has also been hard at work as a judge on the new series of American Idol, proving she's perhaps one of the hardest-working stars in the business.
But it's back to her singing career for Jen for the time being, as she gets ready for her All I Have residency at Planet Hollywood in Vegas, which will kick off in January.
Meanwhile, as well as her jam-packed work schedule, the mother-of-two has been keeping herself busy with her on-off romance with Casper Smart.
