Lamar Odom is fighting for his life after falling unconscious while visiting a brothel in Nevada following a weekend of partying and popping pills containing an herbal Viagra substitute. The professional basketball player was at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South in Pahrump when the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon, days after he first arrived on Saturday. Khloe and Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner are by Odom's side, and a representative for Khloe called the ranch to go gather Odom's belongings according to Hof. TMZ reports that Odom is in a coma, his lungs and kidneys are having serious problems and his heart is starting to fail.

Westlake struck Miss Sanders, a monkey expert, in the face with a wine glass and was convicted of assault over the incident. A group of Polish video bloggers travelled to a tiny desert village in Georgia that doesn't have the luxury to find out what life completely offline would be like. Lead by Wodek Markowicz, the group of explorers ventured into the remote village of Udabno, which is home to just 300 people who settled there from the mountainous Svaneti region. Built in the 1980s as a USSR project, Udabno has no internet and limited water supplies - but, as the group discover, that doesn't mean the residents don't know how to have fun.

Richard Toulson was walking his dog Meg in the valley of Collochan, Dumfries, when he spotted the strange sight, which, unlike a rainbow, shows a white bow shape through fog. The 53-year-old took a picture of the fog bow on his iPhone while on a 10-mile morning hike.

The gull had been hunting around the Bolsa Chica Wetlands Reserve in Huntington Beach, California when it spotted the murky green octopus in the water below and dived in on his prey. However, the octopus unexpectedly defended itself by wrapping its eight long tentacles around the beak in a bid to tape it up. But despite its best efforts the seagull succeed and managed to prod his beak just enough to lift the octopus out of the water.
