A known Bronx gang member has been charged with murder after allegedly opening fire outside a Manhattan club after being kicked out by security, killing one woman and wounding two others, when he intended to hit the bouncer, police suspect.

James Dalone, 26 - previously identified as Dalone Jamison - was arrested during a car stop in Brooklyn on Tuesday following the shooting outside Motivo nightclub, in the Flatiron District, early Monday morning.

Walikque Faussett, 24, a single mother with a three-year-old son, was waiting for a cab when she was twice shot in the back, later dying in hospital, while two other bystanders were also hit.

Dalone, a member of the Bronx gang Dymes R Us, posted a photo to Instagram after the shooting, saying he hoped 'Grace' - Faussett's nickname - was alright, and denying any involvement.

However bouncers identified him as the shooter.

Police believe that, while Dalone knew Faussett, he intended to shoot the two bouncers after being ejected.

'He was taken out of the club by the bouncers, he had gotten into an argument with another woman there, he was escorted out, told them he'd come back with a gun — something they hear quite often actually, in that business,' NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce told CBS New York

'I don't believe at the time he knew who he was shooting at.'

Dalone - who was first arrested at 16 for gang assault and has been arrested 11 times since - posted a photo with Faussett a few hours after the shooting saying that he hopes 'lil sis is ok'.

The photo caption said: 'What's goin on in these streets smh hope lil sis ok I would loose it if not.'

One of Dalone's arrests, in 2010, involved him and three others slashing a man with a box cutter.

Later on Monday, after reports emerged that Dalone was a possible suspect, he posted another denial to Instagram.

'Sleep in peace grace everybody got something to say that was my f- -king friend I would never do no dumb s- -t people make story's and everybody run with it if u knw me u know I ain't no dumb n- - -a…. I'm not hiding cuz I ain't do s- -t I'm him and I'm always gonna be good,'  Dalone said in the post.

Dalone was arrested during a car stop in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, on Tuesday.

Police said he was with other gang members at the time.

Dalone has been charged with murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was arraigned on Wednesday and appeared fairly emotionless in court.

Faussett and her friend, Lauren Renee Rondot, 25, were both hit while waiting for a cab, as was another woman, Deborah Raji, 30, who was shot in the shoulder.

Faussett was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital, while the other women are still recovering.

Witnesses say the shooter fired off at least eight rounds.

He is believed to have then gotten into a dark car, possibly a BMW, and fled.

The father of Walikque Faussett, 24, has now vowed to track down the shooter himself if police don't

Police described him as a black man in his 20s wearing a black and red hoodie.

The New York Daily News reported that, of Dalone's many prior arrests, the victim in the box cutting incident required 60 stitches, mostly to his face, after being slashed.

Earlier, in 2008, he was arrested for assault, menacing and harassment, after allegedly choking a woman and slamming her head into the concrete ground.

However Dalone has done little to no jail time and has mostly been sentenced to community service and probation.

One witness, Miguel Gomez, said he saw the fight break out.

'[The suspected shooter] tried to start fighting with another man inside the club [and then security] put him outside,' Gomez told Pix 11.

'They didn't let him back in. He said, 'That's how it's going to be?'

'He goes back inside the car.

'I don't know if it was him who shot [at the women].

'He [ran] into the back into the black BMW and that's when I heard the gunshots, and hurt the three ladies.'
