LONDON, 13 Oct - Ospreys wing Eli Walker has been called into Wales Rugby World Cup squad and will link up with the squad immediately.

The 23-year-old was originally named in the 31-man RWC Squad but was released due to injury before Wales officially arrived in tournament.

Walker (pictured with ball in training just before the tournament) replaces Liam Williams who was released on Sunday after injurying his foot in Wales’s 15-6 Pool A defeat by Australia last Saturday.

The 24-year-old Williams, who had been struggling with a similar problem prior to RWC 2015, was the sixth member of coach Warren Gatland's original World Cup squad to be sidelined by injury, following Leigh Halfpenny, Rhys Webb, Scott Williams, Hallam Amos and Cory Allen.
