Roar-some! Katy Perry purr-forms in futuristic panther-themed leotard at San Juan Prismatic world tour date

After touring the world with her highly-acclaimed Prismatic tour for the past 17 months, she's getting ready to take some well-deserved time out.

But rather than rest on her laurels, Katy Perry is ensuring she gives every single one of her final dates every ounce of energy she's got left as she proved on Monday night.

Katy, 30, gave the term 'cat lady' a much-needed sexy make-over as she took to the stage in San Juan, Puerto Rico, dressed in her favourite animal-themed costume.

The Roar songstress made the most of her svelte figure as the motif one-piece was rendered in a skin-tight sheeny leather which clung to every contour.

She teamed the stand-out piece with a pair of matching lace-up thigh-high heeled boots which she had no trouble dancing in.

The chart-topper's thighs looked especially lean in the form-fitting choice of footwear as did her upper arms thanks to the sleeveless costume.

Katy wore a full face of stage-appropriate make-up and tied her sleek black locks into a slick high ponytail to avoid any unfortunate costume malfunctions as she executed high-power routine after routine.

At one point, she even writhed around in a hollow metal prism as she belted out her biggest hits in front of the wild crowd.

However, it seems her enthusiasm somewhat took its toll as she tweeted: 'I stomped so hard tonight I think I made me own teeth move #theprismaticworldtourpuertorico #149,' following the concert.

The former wife of Russell Brand is currently on the South American leg, the sixth, of her Prismatic World Tour, which finishes in Costa Rica on October 18.

Her penultimate gig sees her travel to Panama City, Panama, to perform at Plaza Figali.

She has performed to packed-out venues all over Europe, North America and Australia since the tour kicked off in May 2014.
