Elizabeth Hurley gave the younger generation of adoring Chiltern Firehouse fans a lesson in low-key glamour as she stepped out to the celebrity hotspot on Tuesday evening.

Elizabeth, 50, cut a conservative figure as she picked out a sharp two-piece suit for her nighttime outing with friends.

The Estée Lauder pin-up worked the black tailored cropped trousers and silk-trim blazer with confidence as she was pictured leaving the London haunt in the dark hours.

A purple ruched silk top offered a feminine touch to her androgynous theme as did her classic stiletto courts.

Elizabeth appeared to be in high spirits as she was spotted disappearing into the night before bidding a fond farewell to a mystery male companion.

The Gossip Girl actress nuzzled into her pal's neck and planted a friendly kiss on his cheek.

Elizabeth's anonymous friend looked equally as suave and was dressed in navy tailored trousers, a matching V-neck jumper, a light blue shirt and brown suede brogues.

Although the nature of the pair's relationship is not known, they appeared to share a close bond.

She's been quite the social butterfly over the past week after putting in appearances at a gallery launch on Monday and enjoying an evening out with friends on Friday.

She's also been busy promoting breast cancer awareness and appeared on Loose Women last week dressed in the cause's signature pink.

Elizabeth is the global ambassador for Estée Lauder's Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign and as such, regularly lends her star power to promoting the cause.
