Queen Maxima battled the elements on Tuesday as she was caught in a blustery breeze at the Rijksmuseum.
The expressive Queen of The Netherlands couldn't hide her surprise as a gust of wind swept in and nearly blew her hat into the sky.
The 44-year-old held onto her plum hued wide-brimmed hat as she clutched at a colourful selection of flower bouquets she had been gifted.

During the visit, the couple met retired miners, with whom they posed for photos, and greeted members of the public who had gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite monarchs.
As always, King Willem-Alexander gave a small speech and Maxima was showered with bouquets of colourful flowers.

The Dutch royals are busy preparing for their trip to China later this month as part of a large business delegation.
Resplendent in a bold red dress, Queen Maxima joined her husband for a meeting at a university in The Netherlands last Thursday.
The 44-year-old showcased her trim figure in a chic red dress with bow detail belt as she and King Willem-Alexander attended the China event at the University in Leiden.
The meeting was organised by the university in preparation for the state visit to China by the royal couple at the end of October.
According to Dutch News, foreign affairs minister Bert Koenders said: ‘I see this visit as the fruit of our relationship with China.'
He will accompany the monarchs on their trip, which came about when China’s president, Xi Jinping, paid a visit to the Netherlands last year and invited them.
According the Chinese embassy's website, the couple's visit will begin in Beijing and they are then expected to travel to Shandong province and Shanghai.
A broad-based economic mission will apparently run parallel to the state visit.
