First home buyer Jae Jun Kim (inset) got the shock of his life after he found out that the one-bedroom apartment he had bought off the plan in Sydney's CBD for $560,000 was missing the bedroom. Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a collection of apartments in Kensington, West London available for the global ultra-wealthy needing a short-term place to stay in Britain. The sleek flats are kitted out in over-the-top decor, supposed to look similar to the classic design of a Mercedes car. A group of Polish video bloggers travelled to a tiny desert village in Georgia that doesn't have the luxury to find out what life completely offline would be like. Lead by Wodek Markowicz, the group of explorers ventured into the remote village of Udabno, which is home to just 300 people who settled there from the mountainous Svaneti region. Built in the 1980s as a USSR project, Udabno has no internet and limited water supplies - but, as the group discover, that doesn't mean the residents don't know how to have fun.

The marine mammal recorded its journey through waters in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico after a team of divers attached a GoPro camera to its back and sent it on its merry way. The strong bond between the sea lion and the divers, which was formed after they rescued it following a shark attack, enabled the group to strap the camera to the marine mammal and gain an insight into its world.

Many places in China have adopted the Muhlenbergia capillaris - commonly known as the hairawn muhly - including along this Highway in Shanghai. It often grows along the sides of roads where its leaves, which turn copper coloured in the autumn, create spectacular scenery. Joggers and cyclists have also been taking detours to pass by the pink fields, while photographers have chosen the fields to capture some stand-out pictures of their subjects.
