Kourtney Kardashian does not want to share custody of her three children with their father, according to a new report.

The reality star is said to be close to finalising an agreement with ex-partner Scott Disick over the future care of their children Mason, five, Penelope, three, and nine-month-old baby Reign.

'However, Kourtney won't allow Scott split custody,' a source told People magazine. 'She thinks he is a drunk mess and not fit to be a parent without supervision.'

As her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick so delicately phrased it, Kourtney Kardashian is 'one hot mama'.

For now the two are drawing up their own custody agreement and sorting out a financial agreement.

'Everything is getting finalized,' reports People, though 'there is nothing in writing yet.'

The couple ended their nine-year romance this summer after pictures emerged showing club promoter Scott, 32, with old flame Chloe Bartoli in Monte Carlo during a supposed boys holiday.

While Kourtney, 36, has previously fought to save their occasionally bumpy relationship, it seems this time the break is permanent.

In the three months since the break-up, Scott has since begun dating an 18-year-old model, Lindsay Vrckovnik, a romance chronicled both on social media and in the gossip columns.

According to People, Kourtney is more than coping without her long-term partner.

'Although being a single mom is not easy, Kourtney is used to taking care of the kids by herself,' a source tells the magazine.

'She has them on a great schedule and everything runs smoothly even when she is alone with them. She had some nanny help, too, since she is working, but she spends as much time as possible with the kids.'

On Monday Kourtney was pictured taking her two oldest children on a safari trip, along with her sisters.

The single mother has the help of siblings Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall and Kylie, who are all close to her children.

The messy break-down of Kourtney and Scott's relationship was chronicled on the family show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Viewers have watched over the ten seasons of the show as the two have welcomed three children into the world.

'It's been a really hard time going from like, having all you guys, to having nobody,' Scott said in the clip, his voice strained. 'I made the worst decision I could ever have made in my life.'

'You forget what happens when you're on a binge,' Kourtney told him.
