Making her entrance: Rooney Mara wowed in a pale pink ruffled gown as she arrived for the London Film Festival premiere of her movie Carol on Wednesday night
The US star arrived at the Odeon West End wrapped up in a camel-coloured coat, but soon braved the chilly temperatures to show off her jaw-dropping dress.
Her pale pink frock featured ruffles down the length of the skirt, with the semi-sheer delicate fabric flashing a glimpse of the actress' long legs.
The nearly-nude hue complimented the stunning star's porcelain complexion, while she added some platform heels in a matching shade to finish off the look.

Make it a frilly affair in a dress like Rooney Mara
These two ladies have been a vision all day long. They started off today in glamorous looks for their movie photo call and then took things a step further as they stepped out for the première of Carol this evening.
The pair matched earlier, both donning white ensembles, but this evening they opted for completely contrasting hues with Rooney in pretty dusky pink and Cate in striking black. They had similarly chosen frilly ensembles though, particularly Rooney who showed off her Alexander McQueen creation on the red carpet. The dress certainly gave us fashion thrills and we were instantly itching to copy the look.
The dress is from the spring 2016 line so isn't up for grabs just yet, but if you click right you can shop the current ready-to-wear collection at Farfetch.
If you're looking to get a copycat frilly affair, see below for alternatives.
Rooney contrasted the soft, pretty colour palette of her dress with some vampy makeup
A deep ruby red lip colour in a matte shade was teamed with a touch of blusher to highlight her sharp cheekbones, and a dusting of pale pink eyeshadow.
But it was the 30-year-old's hair that really stole the show.

Close: Rooney posed with her co-star Cate Blanchett on the red carpet, with the Aussie actress looking equally beautiful in a shimmering midnight-blue black gown
Her brunette locks had been twisted into serious submission, given the illusion of an undercut, while the lengths of her mane had been bound tightly into a tube-like hair accessory.
The super-slick look showed off the star's flawless makeup, with her locks pulled neatly away from her face.
Rooney joined her co-star Cate Blanchett on the red carpet, with the Aussie actress looking equally stunning in a midnight blue-black shimmering gown that hugged her figure flawlessly.
Admirer: Cate seemed to be getting a closer look at Rooney's stunning dress as they greeted the crowds
Oscar-worthy moment: Cate and Rooney posed together in front of the lines of photographers
Leading ladies: The actresses star in the hugely anticipated drama based on Patricia Highsmith's 1952 book The Price Of Salt
Say cheese: A chilly Rooney made sure to pose for selfies with the fans camped out in London's Leicester Square
All dressed up: Cate's stunning frock included a cape-style swathe of fabric falling in a waterfall style over her shoulders and arms
All of the lights: Cate posed expertly in front of the hundreds of flashing cameras
The two actresses greeted each other warmly on the red carpet after a day of promoting their film in the capital.
In Carol, which is based on Patricia Highsmith's 1952 book The Price Of Salt, Cate plays Carol Aird opposite Roone's Therese Belivet
The 1950s set drama follows Therese, a New York department-store clerk who dreams of a better life, as she falls for an older, married woman, played by Cate.
Carol also stars Kyle Chandler as Harge Aird and Sarah Paulson as Abby Gerhard. The director is Todd Haynes, with the film released in the UK on November 27.
