'My butt is a showstopper': Lea Michele gushes about her honed physique as she sizzles in Marie Claire shoot

She's no stranger to flaunting her fitness regimen on social media.

So it's no surprise Lea Michele is proud of her body, as she revealed to Marie Claire for its November issue, while posing for a sultry shoot showing off her toned legs.

The 29-year-old actress told the mag that her favourite body part is her derriere, saying 'I love my butt. It's a showstopper.'

Grab a gingham bikini like Lea

Lea Michele graces the cover of Marie Claire and, sure, we envy her abs and butt (she calls her derriere a "showstopper") but we, at Fashion Finder, can find plenty of other things in the shoot to admire.

At the top of our list is the gingham swimsuit she is wearing topped with a denim jacket. We love the retro '50s feel and prim-and-proper silhouette.

The tie-front top and high-waisted zip-front bottoms are a dead giveaway that it's by designer Lisa Marie Fernandez. Although you can't get Lea's exact bikini online, click right to get a similar version. Alternatively, the designer is selling the exact style in solid black.

If you'd rather have a look around, see below. Turns out, gingham bikinis were quite the thing this past summer and there are plenty still available and on sale. Get clicking.

It was Lea's abs that took the spotlight for her Women's Health cover which was unveiled on Tuesday, so the petite brunette is quite clearly in tip-top shape.

As part of her cover feature Lea opens up about moving on from tragic Cory Monteith, her boyfriend and Glee co-star who passed away in 2013.

She said 'Getting to the other side takes a lot of work. All you can do is get to the other side. It's a struggle. When you do, there is happiness there.'

She added: 'It's important to me to keep private some of that process with how I got here. But I am here, I am good, and I am very grateful for that.'

The New York native is now dating model Matthew Paetz and dished to the women's mag 'Matthew is a good cook. Food, for me, was always about love and connecting.'

Lea rose to fame on Glee, which she starred in from 2009 to 2015 and revealed that at this stage in her career she feels more satisfied than ever before.

'Everybody thinks you're a star with roses being dropped at your feet. You have to take some f**king punches. Now I have my groove…I am much more aware. I also don't care as much. I am very content with me.'

She also revealed that she's treated herself to a new pad, saying 'The new house might be a little baller. I've earned it.'

Lea now stars in Fox's Scream Queens which comes from Glee and American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy.

The actress admitted that despite the show's title, she doesn't really scream in the show for fear she'll damage those vocal chords needed to sing with.

'I refuse to scream on the show,' Lea told Women's Health. 'Ryan got me in a booth one day and I told him "I’m screaming like twice and then you’re going to have to use it the whole season" because I’m a singer and I was there with Ariana Grande and we were like ‘We can’t scream, this is our gift.’
