Terrorism thriller Quantico starring Priyanka Chopra has gotten six more episodes from ABC, Deadline reported on Tuesday.

The drama is the second new series this fall to receive an order for additional episodes.

The popular Sunday night show features a team of young FBI recruits, the lives of which are detailed in the weekly series.

The show's protagonist, Alex Parrish, portrayed by Chopra, is suspected of having masterminded a terrorist attack.

Flashbacks tell her story, as well as those of her fellow recruits at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Chopra has gotten raves so far with E! calling the actress 'the most ridiculously beautiful specimen on planet earth.'

While the 33-year old has long been known to Bollywood fans, she's only recently achieved US fame in the wake of Quantico's debut.

'I had a holding deal with ABC', the star told Entertainment Weekly recently, 'and I was very clear about the kind of show I wanted to do, because Indian people have always been...put in a box. So I wanted to sort of break that box.'

With 19 episodes now slated, ABC, which plans to launch more dramas mid-season, considers their current buy for Quantico to be a full-season order.

To date, the series has ranked as Sunday’s No. 1 broadcast entertainment program with adults 18-49.

The network's ratings in the 10 o’clock hour have increased by 46% as a result of Quantico's success.

The series joins NBC’s Blindspot, which recently received a back-nine order, as the only two freshman series to garner added episodes this season.

The new CBS series Limitless and Fox’s Rosewood are likely to receive similar network commitments in the coming weeks.

Limitless, a crime drama about a mysterious drug which gives users superhuman brain power, debuted in late September, and has currently completed three airings.

Rosewood, a Miami-based police procedural, details the exploits of pathologist Beaumont Rosewood, as played by Morris Chestnut.

Both shows have garnered respectable ratings, with Rosewood faring less well, having dropping more than 1.75 million viewers since its September 23 debut.
