Must have been a fun night! Paula Abdul, 53, exits West Hollywood hangout Craig's with tousled locks after posting message about 'faith' 

Paula Abdul seemed like she had a good time at Craig's in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

When leaving the hot spot, the 53-year-old former American Idol judge looked like her hair had been messed up a bit.

This comes just after the former pop star posted a message on Instagram about 'faith.'

The full message read, 'Have faith in yourself.'

Later that night she looked stunning in a purple dress. The fitted number, which hit the dancer mid-thigh, also featured loose ruffles on the hem. It also cinched at the waist, revealing her slim figure. At one point, the brightly colored frock exposed a hint of her black bra.

The actress added pointed lavender heels to her colorful ensemble, as well as a large Chanel purse with silver chains.

The wrinkle-free starlet wore silver jewelry to complete her look, including a bangle and several rings. 

Her signature chocolate-colored hair was wavy and loose, with her bangs side swept.

The So You Think You Can Dance judge, who waited for her car with one hand crossed and the other hand under her chin, wore pink lips and charcoal-colored eye shadow on her lids.

Her love of color didn't stop there. The star alternated her fingernails with red and glittery nail polish for a fun look.

On October 2, the choreographer took in a LA Dodgers game, when they played against the San Diego Padres. 

The California-born star attended the game in Los Angeles with friend, Lon Rosen, opting for a white collared shirt with a strapless jumpsuit layered on top.

The musician, who first rose to fame in the eighties with her debut album, Forever Your Girl, won a Grammy Award in 1991 for Best Music Video for her song, Opposites Attract.

The brunette started her entertainment career as part of the Laker Girls, a cheerleading squad for the Los Angeles Lakers, eventually becoming the head choreographer for the group.

Her friend, Lon, was actually her boss when she was part of the Laker Girls.

She recently wrapped her first season as a judge on So You Think you Can Dance with Nigel Lythgoe and Jason Derulo.
