‘I have a good heart with a dirty mouth!': Olivia Newton-John's daughter Chloe Lattanzi apologises for dropping the F-bomb in a thank you video to fans

She stepped back into the spotlight last month when she released a single with her famous mother Olivia Newton-John.

And on Tuesday Chloe Lattanzi sent out a public apology to her fans after she dropped the F-bomb in a video posted to social media, which thanked them for their support.

'I'm not a bad girl. I have a good heart with a dirty mouth,' she posted alongside a selfie of herself showing off her crystal blue eyes and dyed blonde locks.

'I wanted to make a public apology for using the f word in the thank you video to everyone. I hear I offended some people,' she continued.

'I'm human just like you, and make mistakes! I have a habit of swearing when I'm nervous. You may not know it but I'm very shy and self-conscious on camera and sometimes forget how normal people talk.

'This whole fame thing is hard. I say one word then I can't sleep cuz I worry I will lose all the wonderful people who have supported me. From the bottom of my heart I am sorry,' she finished her touching post.

Just hours following her apology the 29-year-old again took to Instagram to thank her 11,000 followers for 'making me feel okay' about swearing in her short video - which has since been removed.

'I feel all mushy and lovey dovey: just wanna hug you all!,' she gushed.

In a 30-second replacement video, which has since been posted to the blonde beauty's accounts, the singer wrapped her arm around mum Olivia as they both praised their fans for helping move their You Have To Believe single into the top 10 on the music charts.

'We want to thank all of you who have helped our wonderful record get to number six,' the Grease actress said, with help from Chloe who reminded her of the records chart placement.

The mother and daughter duo released the revamped song in August, which is a dance remix of 1980 hit Magic produced by DJ Dave Aude.

Earlier this year, Olivia confirmed to news.com.au that she and Chloe had been in the studio.

'It's now called You Have To Believe and it's a dance remake of Magic with [house producer] Dave Aude,' the 65 year-old said.

'She's starting again, rewriting songs, talking to producers. It’s very exciting.'
