But Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara showcased her more low-key style as she visited a tanning salon in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday.

The 43-year-old Colombian star cut a slim figure in form-fitting workout gear as she hurried about her day in the upmarket Los Angeles district.

The mother-of-one was seen avidly texting on her phone as she ran errands, most likely to her fiancé Joe Manganiello, who she's set to wed later this year.

The in-demand duo - who got engaged on Christmas Day after they had begun dating in July 2014 - are likely busy with wedding preparations, with their November 22 nuptials drawing closer.

It will be the first for 38-year-old actor Joe, though Sofia had previously been married to Joe Gonzalez, with whom she has 22-year-old son, Manolo.

The stunning star recently spoke to Yahoo Beauty about her upcoming big day, in which she said she was planning a dramatic make-up look for her wedding.

She revealed: 'I know that I want to do something interesting with the mouth. I don’t want to do the traditional, wedding makeup that’s like “la la” — just boring.

'I want to use a bold lip to make it modern. I’m an older bride, I’m 43, so I don’t want to play the role of the virgin getting married all pale and all that. I’m going to do something interesting.'

Professionally, Sofia has been busy working on the latest season of her popular ABC comedy Modern Family, which recently picked back up in the US with its seventh season.
