The victim was found hanging by her shirt sleeve from a chain-link fence near an American Electric Power construction site at North Brownell Street and Hardin Drive at about 8.30am in Chillicothe, Ohio, on Tuesday. The body was so badly injured that it was impossible to tell if it was a male or female. But the victim was identified by police as Rebecca Cade (right), 31, a mother from Chillicothe, at a press conference today. Donnie Cochenour Jr. was arrested for Cade's murder on Tuesday and charged with one count of murder. Bail was set at $2million for the 27-year-old during his arraignment on Wednesday.

Gina Young, 43, from Campbell, California, was at the Westgate Campbell Target with her sons Weston and Wyatt on Wednesday when X-rated audio began playing on the intercom. The mother filmed the incident, sharing the footage on her Facebook page. More than 175,000 people have watched the clip.

Angel Ariel Escalante Perez, 12, had been walking home school in Guatemala when he was ambushed gangland thugs who ordered him to shoot a bus driver or be killed himself. Because his father, Luis Escalante, worked as a bus driver, the brave schoolboy refused. He was then given the choice of being murdered by machetes or thrown off a bridge. Angel chose the latter and was hurled over the Incensio Bridge in Guatemala City. Despite plunging nearly 450ft, he survived after landing in the thick foliage below. A new report is shedding light on Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian's tormented relationship in the weeks before his tragic overdose during a $75,000 bender at a brothel. According to Radar Online , Odom had  'pleaded' with Khloe to stop recording his phone calls for her reality show, but she reportedly ignored his requests, saying he deserved the bad press for the way he treated her during their marriage. 'Khloe would either ignore the texts and voice mail messages asking her to stop, or she would tell him, 'You owe me this after you humiliated me by cheating with other women,'' the source said.

In celebration of her 44th birthday, Koko's trainer Francine Patterson, on behalf of The Gorilla Foundation, introduced the ape to some babies - a litter of kittens. Koko was captured on camera being presented with a cardboard box containing the kittens. After stroking them gently, the gorilla picked one up and brought it in for a cuddle (main). During her meeting with the kittens, she made the sign for 'cat' (bottom left) followed by 'baby' (bottom centre) - telling her trainers the kittens were now her adopted children. She also asked in sign language for one of the kittens to be placed on her head. The tender moment was filmed at the foundation's base in Woodside, California.

A father has been filmed verbally abusing a female Post Office worker in Los Angeles, completely oblivious to his son's mortification, as the boy seems all too familiar with his dad's behavior. In a clip uploaded to YouTube, the man demands that the female staff member speak to him 'with respect' before telling her: 'Now I gotta put you in your place because you're a woman and I'm a man.' Behind his back, his son tries to hide his face in his hat before burying his head into the small of his father's back in embarrassment, though the older man carries on shouting regardless.

Protests erupted in Washington DC Tuesday after a cellphone video emerged on Twitter showing two white police officers pinning 18-year-old Jason Goolsby to the ground and handcuffing him. Goolsby later said he was assaulted by the cops after a white woman called 911 saying his presence near a bank ATM made her feel 'uncomfortable.' Police eventually determined he was innocent and let him go.

Researchers have revealed over 400 US cities set to be obliterated by rising sea levels - and have created an interactive map to reveal the full extent of the crisis. The map looks at various different post-2100 sea levels that could change in this century. Florida is the state set to fare the worst from rising sea levels. Less than three months after Cecil the Lion was shot dead, a German hunter has killed a large elephant with 122 pounds tusks in a game park in Zimbabwe. The elephant is thought to have been the biggest elephant shot in living memory when it was killed on October 8 in Gonarezhou National Park in south-east Zimbabwe. The majestic animal's tusks weighed 122 pounds and were so big that they dragged along the ground, according to Johnny Rodrigues Chairman for Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force.
