But it looked as though Orlando Bloom instead opted for the company of a beautiful female when he headed to the sun-soaked Point Dume in Malibu, California, on Wednesday afternoon.

Keeping in touch with his athletic side, the 38-year-old actor highlighted his washboard abs beneath a tight blue wetsuit top as he and the mystery woman floated on their surfboards and chatted alone in the middle of the ocean.

Meanwhile his pretty companion showcased her pert posterior in a pair of high-rise black bikini bottoms and a tight wetsuit top in a matching shade.

Her brunette tresses were tied away from her make-up free face in an effortless bun as she leaned over her board and exchanged words with the Hollywood heartthrob.
