Take a walk on the wild side with Ivanka's pumps

Injecting some fun into her simple black dress outfit, Ivanka donned a pair of statement leopard print heels from her own collection.

With a penchant for anything leopard print, we were instantly drawn to these bad boys, which this potential future first daughter (perish the thought!) was spotted wearing to an event today.

Fast become a modern classic in terms of prints, every wardrobe should have at least one piece featuring this feline motif, and if you’re not ready to go for a leopard print dress or coat, then a pair of shoes are a great way to dip your toe (quite literally) into the trend.

So click right to buy the elegantly clothed, and beautifully minded's heels from Nordstrom.com!

At only $135, we already think these shoes are a steal but browse our carousel below for even more affordable options.

Speaking on CNN she said: 'Look, my father is very blunt. He's very direct. He is not gender specific in his criticism of people, and people that he doesn't particularly like or people that he does like but thinks they're wrong on a particular issue.

'So I don't think that he's gender-targeted at all. Like I said, I wouldn't be the person I am today, I wouldn't be a high-level executive within his organization if he felt that way.'

Ivanka Trump revealed her relationship status with her dad running for president and 'it's complicated.'

The Trump daughter appeared this morning in Washington at Fortune's Most Powerful Women summit and talked about how she views his campaign through several different lenses.

'I'm incredibly proud of him,' she said, according to Politico. 'As a citizen I love what he's doing, as a daughter, it's obviously more complicated.'

Ivanka Trump is just starting to emerge as a surrogate for her father, who's still leading the Republican field in the polls.

'It's a very difficult thing to do and I see now just how difficult it is and he's achieve tremendous success,' she observed of his presidential run thus far.

'He was not a politician, he is not a politician, but he's really changing the dialogue and he's really disrupting the process in a very positive way,' Trump added.

In an interview last week with the Washington Post, the billionaire outlined a three-part plan to turn the 'summer of Trump' into a successful and more conventional autumn on the campaign trail.

Part of that plan, the candidate said, was to roll out his wife Melania and daughter Ivanka.

The two Trump women would help The Donald shore up support among female voters.

Before now, most campaign-related chatter about Trump's daughter has been about her across-the-aisle friendship with Chelsea Clinton.

Earlier this summer, shortly before her dad entered the race, Trump tweeted a quote attributed to Chelsea Clinton with her own take.

'Wise words,' she said .

Clinton had only good things to say about Ivanka Trump during a recent interview.

'I love Ivanka and I think friendship always trumps politics, and that’s how it should be,' Clinton said on Extra.

This morning Trump appeared in a picture with another Clinton confidante, Anne-Marie Slaughter, who now heads the New America Foundation, but once held one of the top posts at State, during Hillary Clinton's tenure.

Today Trump also made her CNN debut of the presidential campaign cycle, talking to the network's Poppy Harlow.

'He'd be amazing for women in this country, he would be incredible for women in this country,' Trump said of her candidate dad, in a preview of the conversation.

She said her dad was just starting to articulate his position on women's issues and it wasn't her place to talk specifics.

'I'm not part of the campaign and I'm very busy and he's kept me very busy working alongside my brothers and running the organization now that he's taking this step and – in terms of his efforts to try and make this country great again, as he says,' Trump said, quoting her dad like a pro.

Pushing policy aside, Trump said she could speak from the vantage point of a child and as a colleague.

'He's been an amazing parent,' Trump said. 'He's been loving and supportive. He's pushed me, he's corrected me, he's disciplined me and I think as a parent now myself, I appreciate how hard that is, more than ever before.'
