Rumer Willis has dyed her chocolate brown locks a light strawberry blonde.

The 27-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis showed off the new color when making the press rounds to Extra and the the Today show on Thursday to promote her musical Chicago.

The Dancing With The Stars vet wore her new locks brushed back with a gold bird hair clip.

While on the Today show she chatted up her Chicago gig, which lasts seven weeks.

'I remember coming to New York as a kid and seeing that show so many times, it's so tongue in cheek. I wanted to be Velma, but I really like Roxy actually,' said Rumer.

'I'm really actually excited to keep dancing and taking ballroom classes,' said Rumer. 'I took the requisite ballet class that every kid takes as a child.'

The actress' turn will conclude on November 1, but Rumer revealed to Kathie and Hoda that there is still plenty left in store following her Broadway debut.

'I literally have so much going on I can barely keep track! I'm doing a show actually at 54 Below. I'm doing it with my best friend Tye, and we've been wanting to put together a show for a really long time.'

In addition to a separate show in Los Angeles with Tye, Rumer said she will be reuniting once more with her former Dancing With The Stars castmates.

'I'm doing actually Sway with Val and Maks and Tony from Dancing With The Stars, we're doing it in Miami,' Rumer said, referencing her former partner Val Chmerkovskiy, as well as Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Tony Dovolani.

Sway will hit the Olympia Theater in Miami in December.
