It is essential to life while being mundane and tasteless.

And LMFAO rapper Redfoo took the latter to a whole new level as he got raunchy with a gaggle of scantily clad models in a new advertising campaign for 138 Water.

The ginger-haired star looked like he was having a whale of a time as he struck a series of raunchy poses with the barely covered glamour models.

The 40-year-old looked more like a boy of 14 as he rammed his crotch into the ladies in some photographs, and covered them with the wet stuff in others.

He was dressed to the nines, relatively speaking, in a matching garish patterned opened necked shirt and shorts, with complimenting luminous laced trainers.

To round off his look, the Let's Get Ridiculous star, who seems to live by the mantra of his number 1 hit, wore a pair of typically over the top thick-rimmed white spectacles.

Ironically water was on his mind for another reason earlier this year when he made his unhappiness clear on social media after a man who threw a glass of the wet stuff at him during a night out in Sydney, Australia was sentenced

He suffered a cut above his right eye and was treated by paramedics, and did not seem pleased the man was not handed a jail sentence.

'Just as shocked by the Magistrate's actions as I was when the glass struck my face!' the 39-year-old tweeted.

Arian Berisha, 21, received a two-year good behaviour bond after pleaded guilty in March to assault over the attack, while the more serious charge of reckless wounding was dropped.

Redfoo - whose real name is Stefan Gordy - was struck by the glass as he left a VIP section at the popular eastern suburbs pub, The Golden Sheaf Hotel, in Double Bay on August 28 2014.

The court heard an intoxicated Berisha had been dared by friends to throw water at the American star, and the glass accidentally went with it.

The judge described it as a 'very bad error of judgement' by the 21-year-old, but that he had not intended to cause the star harm.
